warplink ("we", "us", "our") operates the warpl.ink platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (hashed). If you sign in with Google OAuth, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google.

2.2 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVC, or full card details. Stripe provides us with a token, your plan type, and billing status. See Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.

2.3 Click and Analytics Data

When someone clicks a warplink short link, we collect the following data to provide analytics to link owners:

  • IP address (used for geolocation, then discarded from logs)
  • Approximate geographic location (country, city)
  • Device type, operating system, and browser
  • Referrer URL
  • UTM parameters (if present in the URL)
  • Timestamp of the click

2.4 Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with our dashboard, including pages visited and features used, to improve the service.

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the service
  • To process transactions and manage subscriptions
  • To provide click analytics and reporting to link owners
  • To detect platform (iOS, Android, etc.) for smart redirects

  • Resend — for transactional emails
  • ip-api.com — for IP geolocation of clicks (IP addresses only, no account data)

6. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted upon account deletion.
  • Click analytics: Retained for the duration of your subscription. Deleted when a workspace is deleted.
  • Payment records: Retained as required by tax and financial regulations.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies only: authentication session cookies and CSRF protection tokens. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No cookie consent banner is required as these cookies are strictly necessary for the service to function.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and secure session management. While no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, we strive to protect your data.

10. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly.

11. International Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers in compliance with applicable law.
